The Kitchen

Hemlock Hill Academy has the opportunity to teach the children a valuable life-skill such as cooking. Each month we participate in making a meal to share together. Our facility, Church of the Epiphany, has graciously allowed us to use their commercial kitchen and parish hall for these studies and the students enjoy cooking together.

We believe that children can participate in important roles of everyday life, and learning to cook will create memories, improve confidence, develop hand strength, and promote eye-hand coordination.
